Six Feet Down (Payment)

There’s too many ghosts and not enough houses.

Nowadays, when a ghost is waiting in the afterlife, they must wait until their name is drawn from a lottery in order to be given a space to haunt. Hildegard Lancaster has been waiting in this lottery for 83 years, and it seems her luck is turning over when she’s granted a gorgeous, sprawling mansion. The only issue? Due to an error in the records, a second ghost has been assigned to the manor: and she’s not willing to share. In order to fix the mistake, a ghost trial is held to evaluate their respective “ghostliness”… and see who’s really deserving of the property.

An interactive comedy with two endings, decided by audience vote. Written in 2025 and produced in March 2026. A one-act play.

Won STAGE student theatre’s “Best Playwright” award.
