I started writing probably somewhere immediately after I was born, or maybe before it. I’m pretty sure that me rearranging my letter-shaped cookies was my attempt to make the next Great American Novel. It would have been poignant stuff, if only I hadn’t eaten the manuscript. Ever since, I’ve learned to make sure my writing materials aren’t edible.

Seriously, though, I’ve loved to write for most of my life. The first time I shared my writing publicly was my freshman year at Washington State University, where I wrote and directed my first one-act, “Harebrained”.

Since then, I’ve continued writing and directing for WSU’s theatre club. I’ve put two one-acts to stage, and was commissioned to write a full murder mystery dinner theatre that premieres in October 2026. In May 2026, I won their award for “best playwright”. I specialize in writing thrillers and comedies, two genres that I believe are sisters. After all, both center around surprising the audience!
